Frank Mannarino Frank Mannarino, Clinical Director and founder of Emoshuns, Inc., is an extraordinary, highly educated and qualified healthcare professional with more than twenty years of experience providing one-on-one professional help to people struggling with emotional health issues, including relationship problems, family problems, depression, anxiety, and substance abuse.

Frank chose the emotional healthcare profession because his personal experience and family history includes significant emotional problems. Through a process of intense emotional therapy and a significant change in lifestyle, Frank was able to overcome his problems and change the direction of his life.

Since then, Frank has earned graduate and post-graduate degrees with honors, been awarded numerous professional credentials, provided quality leadership and direction to a number of the USA's largest behavioral healthcare institutions, and most importantly, has -- and is -- helping many people to improve their emotional health and well being.

To form Emoshuns, Frank attracted an outstanding group of dedicated and accomplished healthcare professionals, product manufacturers, and support personnel. (Contact Frank if you're interested in joining the EMOSHUNS Team and think you may have the qualifications.)

Now, with the EMOSHUNS Team of inspired, professional counselors, a service and product line designed to improve the lives of those who use them, and limitless determination, Frank's mission is to help you - individuals, couples, and families to:

"Feel Better, Look Better, Take Back Your Life!"

Frank's Personal Story

"I grew up in the 1960's, born of an emotionally unhealthy mother and an alcoholic father. Because of the turbulent times and my genetic predisposition, the odds were stacked against me. And, just as one could have predicted, personal problems developed and I suffered years of emotional unhealthiness including depression and anxiety.

As if this wasn't painful enough, because drugs and alcohol were readily available in the 60's, I began to seek emotional comfort in these mood altering substances, and ultimately developed substance abuse problems.

For far too long, I struggled with all the problems associated with the complicated combination of emotional illness and chemical dependence - until finally, being sick-and-tired of being sick-and-tired, I sought help.

After years of hard work and with the help of professionals in the area of counseling, nutrition, and education, I was able to turn my life around and find peace.

And now, because of the help and support I received from the professionals in my life, I have become a dedicated professional myself. Dedicated to helping others find their peace.

One of the most important lessons I've learned in my professional development is that the term "Mental Illness" is not appropriate for the daily, emotionally stressful situations affecting millions of Americans every day.

In my opinion, this term is derogatory, limiting, has negative connotations, and ultimately puts lifetime, "negative jackets" on normal people. Normal people with normal thoughts and normal feelings, facing normal situations shared by all of us.

This is why I have chosen to use the name "EMOSHUNS" and why I choose to address common, every day struggles, faced by all of us, as "emotional health care," rather than "mental health treatment."

SHUN the mental health labels, SHUN the negatives, SHUN the jacket, and embrace your EMOSHUNS."
